David Mercado is a Christian Contemporary Pop artist from the South Bronx, NYC, known for his powerful blend of gospel-rooted worship and modern sounds. His music seamlessly fuses Contemporary Christian and Gospel with elements of pop, hip-hop, and R&B—creating a style that transcends boundaries and speaks to a global audience.

Beyond his own music, David has made a mark behind the scenes. He co-wrote, arranged, and produced Journey Worship NYC’s debut singles—“All The Days of My Life,” “Worthy To Be Praised,” and “Revival”—alongside Joshua Wheatley, SongAh Chae, and Hugh Harsher.

Most recently, David released his second EP, Next To You, a heartfelt collection that explores themes of faith, perseverance, and intimacy with God through every season of life.

This 12-month initiative is a powerful opportunity to leave a legacy that impacts lives for Jesus long after we are gone. Our goal is to raise $250,000 between now and July 2026 to complete four mission-critical projects that will enable our church to better reach our community, disciple the next generation, and steward our property and facilities well
