Why do we tithe? The Bible says, "The purpose of tithing is to teach you always to put God first in your lives." (Deuteronomy 14:23 TLB) Tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything we have. It is also God’s personal invitation to an outpouring of his blessing in your life.
One of the easiest and most effective ways to honor God with the tithe in your life is to automate your giving using the Automated Bank Debit option.
Once it is set up, your tithe will be automatically sent from your bank through electronic transfer. Plus - you can update or change your giving at any time by simply contacting The Journey office. Plus, 100% of your gift goes to the ministries of The Journey because there are no processing fees.
To sign-up, complete an auto-debit form and mail or fax the completed form to The Journey office to have your giving automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. Complete instructions are in the download.
