Each week at The Journey people just like you give their time to serve. Whether it’s helping children learn about Jesus on their level at Journey Kids, welcoming first-time guests and attenders, volunteering in the office during the week, or serving in one of the areas of the Worship Arts Team, every volunteer is making a difference.

The Welcome Team specializes in helping people feel like they belong at The Journey from the moment a person walks on campus at the church.  By offering a warm smile, helping someone find a seat, or being the welcoming face that a guest sees when they drive into the parking lot, the Welcome Team offers opportunities to serve in a variety of areas, either before, during or after the service. Journey Kids is designed to teach kids about Jesus on their level in a safe, fun environment. Each week infants–5th grade kids are taught the Bible in a creative, age-appropriate way while building relationships with adult volunteers and peers. We have weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly serving opportunities in Journey Kids. And don’t worry, no teaching experience necessary. The Worship Arts Team at The Journey is a community of artists and technicians who, together, unleash the arts to create transformational moments in people’s lives. The Worship Arts Team includes musicians, singers, audio, video and lighting technicians and backstage managers, as well as actors and those with a passion for the arts.
We believe that God has given us the arts so that we can honor Him, and share His love with others.
